Mild Exfoliation is a gentle peeling based on an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion with a mild exfoliating agent made from jojoba oil.
Jojoba oil is moisturizing, regulates sebum production, and is suitable for both dry and oily skin. It contains many antioxidants, including vitamin E, which protect the skin from free radicals and can help prevent skin aging. Jojoba oil is ideal for sensitive skin, eczema, or skin irritations – it reduces redness and soothes the skin.
When applied in circular motions, it removes dead skin cells, improves blood circulation, and gives the skin a more radiant, rosy appearance. The skin is optimally prepared for further treatment and can absorb active ingredients more effectively.
For preparation, gently cleanse the face with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser. If needed, warm the face slightly with warm water or a damp cloth to open the pores. Apply a small amount of Mild Exfoliation to damp skin and gently massage in circular motions – do not rub too hard! Avoid the eye area, as the skin there is particularly sensitive. Then rinse with lukewarm water without rubbing. The skin is now optimally prepared to absorb the active ingredients of a nourishing mask or day/night care depending on skin type.
Consider skin type: dry/sensitive skin: once a week, normal/combination skin: 1–2 times per week, oily/blemished skin: up to 3 times per week depending on tolerance. Use in the evening so the skin can regenerate overnight.
